How to Take Care of Your Xbox-360
First and foremost, you should choose an adequate home for your machine. Game consoles can become very hot when in use and if the vents are covered or the air doesn't have room to circulate, the system could overheat, causing internal problems. Give your 360 space to breath.
Overtime, your Xbox will begin to accumulate dust and that can also hinder circulation. Be sure to give your machine a good clean every now and then to keep it looking as good as new. Use a microfibre cloth for the best results. It's also worth noting that the Xbox can be stored both horizontally and vertically.
Finally, it's a good idea to keep your 360's original box for long-term storage and transportation.
