Overview of Xbox Live Marketplace
The Xbox Live Marketplace is where you can buy games, downloadable content, avatar items, themes, video and more. There is also a selection of free items for download such as demos.
Buying Things in the Marketplace
To buy things from the Marketplace, Microsoft points are required. To get points, you either need a credit card, Paypal account or pre-paid points cards. About 80 points is the equivalent to 1 US dollar.
Accessing Different Xbox Marketplaces
To access the Video Marketplace, on the dashboard choose the Video tab, then Zune Marketplace.
To access the Games Marketplace, on the dashboard choose the Games tab and then Xbox Live Marketplace, where you can buy games, themes, avatar items and demos.
