Intro to Microsoft Word
Microsoft Office 2010 is a commonly used application system that enables you to create original documents and create documents from existing templates. Some templates included are charts, agendas, brochures, memos, posters. Again, these are all templates that Microsoft Office provides for you as well as many other templates, and you can manipulate these templates as you fit.
Functions Within Microsoft Word
If I want to increase the size of this arrow, I can just pull and drag it open. If I want to put my company name in this memo, I can just simply highlight and then type in my company's name. If I don't like the style in which this brochure is laid out I can highlight it, go into my Styles and simply change the style.
On this agenda page, if I want to change the font, I can highlight it, go into my Styles, and simply change the style. On this Agenda page, if I want to change the font, I can just select Conference Agenda, go up and change the size of the font, I can change the name of the font, I can bold it and I can easily pull it open so that it reads correctly.
Whether you are creating original documents or you are using templates already supplied by Microsoft Word, you can manipulate and be creative to meet the document's needs. For more information please visit About.com.
