Hello, this is Adam Watstein for About.com.
Steps for Inserting Clip Art in Word
Here's how to insert clip art into a word document. Go over to the insert tab and in the illustrations pane, select clip art. On the right side of the window, you'll find the clip art box. This is where the list of all your art choices will be. If you were to select the box for including Office.com content, when you do a search for content, it will search online. Deselect that.
Other Ways to Insert Clip Art in Microsoft Word
You can also select this drop down box and choose what type of media you want to search for. If you only want video and audio, just deselect illustrations and photographs. If you just want to look for some art that office provides for you, do a search.
In this case I'm gonna search for a person, select go, and you'll see a whole list of art that Microsoft Office provides for you. By scrolling I can look for the art of my choice and then select and it'll show up in my document. Once the art is in, I can drag it from its corner to make it larger, I can drag it from it's corner to make it smaller and I can continue getting creative with this art to meet my document's needs.
