Hi, I'm Shane Murphy, your technology Guru for About.com. Today we'll review how to change your paper size in Word 2010.

How to Change the Paper Size in Microsoft Word 2010

Start by selecting the page layout tab at the top, and clicking the size button. A drop down menu will display a broad list of common sizes other than the standard 8 ½ by 11. Most of the standard paper sizes for common purposes are represented here, including legal, various skinny sizes for pamphlets, and extra large sheets for magazines. If none of those fit, click more paper sizes at the bottom. Here you can enter the exact height and width that you’ll be printing on. Word will only accept values between .1 and 22 inches. You can tell your printer which tray to load paper from here as well.
