Hi, I'm Shane Murphy, your technology Guru for About.com. Today we'll look at how to add watermarks to your word documents.Add a Watermark in Word Document
Start by heading up to the Page Layout tab at the top and selecting the watermark button. Here you'll be given a few standard watermark choices. If you want to create your own, click custom watermark.Add Watermark in Word with Pictures
To add in a picture watermark, simply select the top option and click “select picture” to search for the appropriate picture you want to add. You can adjust the size of the picture here as well. Make sure that washout is selected before clicking OK.Customize a Watermark in Word
To create custom text, select the bottom option and enter your desired watermark below. You can also adjust the text font, color, orientation, and size here.
