Hi, I'm Shane Murphy, your technology guru for About.com. Today we'll show how to add a picture watermark to documents in Word 2010.Choose a Watermark to Add to Word Documents
Start by heading up to the Page Layout tab at the top and selecting the watermark button. Here you'll be given a few standard watermark choices. If you want to create your own, click custom watermark.Add a Picture Watermark With "Select Picture" Option
To add in a picture watermark, simply select the top option and click "Select Picture" to search for the appropriate picture you want to add. You can adjust the size of the picture here as well. Make sure that washout is selected before clicking OK.You Can Also Add a Text Watermark to Word Documents
To create custom text, select the bottom option and enter your desired watermark below. You can also adjust the text font, color, orientation, and size here. Make sure the semitransparent selection is made before clicking OK.Your watermark will now appear on your page and show up normally when you print.
