Now on version 6, Komodo is an open source HTML editor.
Advantages of Using Komodo as Your Free Web Editor
One of the great advantages of Komodo is its flexibility with multiple programming languages, such as Python 3, PHP, and Ruby on Rails. It also features a Database Explorer that makes it easy to interact and run queries with live database sources. It’s available for Windows and Linux as well as OS X, and best yet, it’s free. This is a great solution for cutting-edge HTML programmers.
Using Aptana Studio 3 as Your Free Web Editor
Another terrific open source solution is Aptana Studio 3. This IDE specializes in building rich web applications.
