Halo is a first-person shooter created by Bungie and is one of the most popular and well-known video games of recent times.

Cheat Codes and Halo

To enter a cheat in Halo, you must ensure you have the Custom Edition – available to download for free on a variety of websites. Once you have installed Custom Edition, right click the shortcut file and add ‘-console –devmode' in the target line and click apply. To be able to use the cheats, you must start the game via this shortcut.

To enter a cheat, press the tilde key to access the cheat console. From here, type the code you want, for example, by entering game_speed and a value between 1-20, you can change the speed of the game.

More About Cheat Codes and Halo

Some cheats can be turned on or off, depending on which numeric code you type, for example, typing cheat_super_jump 1 will allow your character to leap great distances into the air. Typing cheap_super_jump 0 will turn this ability off again.

If you want to make your character invincible, enter the code cheat_deathless_player 1. With this cheat enabled, you can still take damage, but you can't be killed.

To spawn all weapons available in the game, enter the code cheat_all_weapons and then select the weapon you want to use.

To spawn a warthog jeep, enter the code cheat_spawn_warthog and get ready to travel to your next destination in style. Be careful to spawn vehicles in an open space, as they can damage your health if they land directly on top of you!

Enhance your weapons further by giving them unlimited ammo with no reload. Enter the code cheat_bottomless_clip 1 and fire to your heart's content!

Spawn all the power-ups available in the game by typing the code cheat_all_powerups. Now simply collect the items to access them.

If you want a choice of vehicles, enter the code cheat_all_vehicles. This cheat is often chaotic as the vehicles struggle to find room, but you can always flip over your transport of choice if need be.

To get a different view of the action, type debug_camera_save to set an anchor point for your camera. Now, whenever you want, you can enter the code debug_camera_load to immediately switch back to this alternative view.

Finally, if your screen is a bit of a mess with codes, simply enter cls to tidy things up.
