Hi I'm Chris Davis for About.com. There are several cheat codes and tips that will help your game play in Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City on the PS3. Here are a few of the popular ones.
How to Enter Cheat Codes in Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City
To utilize any cheat codes in this game you will enter them by pressing up, during game play then dialing numbers into the in-game cell phone. If the code has been entered correctly you will see a "Cheats" menu option available on your phone where you can access cheats without having to enter the code again. Be aware that you don't want to save the game after enabling a code. Some codes can prevent achievements from being unlocked.
Missions, Weapons, and Wanted Level Cheats
To work through missions with higher health and armor enter: 362-555-0100. You can enter this code as often as you need it throughout play.
There are two categories of weapons that can be unlocked. For the more basic weapons enter: 486-555-0150. And if you need more advanced weapons enter: 486-555-0100.
You can either raise your wanted level by entering: 267-555-0150. Or, remove it when the police are all over you by entering 267-555-0100.
Cheat Codes for Different Cars, Boats, and Motorcycles
It wouldn't be Grand Theft Auto with out vehicles to use. Try the following codes to unlock a variety of forms of transportation. For the Cognoscent enter: 227-555-0142 and 227-555-0100 will produce the FIB Buffalo. If you want to drive a little faster enter: 227-555-0147. For the Turismo or the Comet: 227-555-0175. And if you are looking for fun on two wheels enter: 625-555-0100 for the NRG-900 motorcycle.
You can also move through and around the city from a different point of view by entering: 938-555-0150 for the boat. Or, If you want to take a look at the city from above enter: 359-555-0100 for the Annihilator helicopter.
