The Sims 2 is a life simulation game that allows the player to create and customize homes and characters to suit their tastes. Without cheats, the game can be quite slow and a lot of hard work, but unlimited money and other perks are only a few button clicks away!

Cheat Codes for The Sims 2

The console versions of the game require a a master cheat to be entered, before the others will work. This is known as the cheat gnome and acts as a home for all your cheats. Unlock the cheat gnome by entering the following codes:

PS2: L1, R1, Up, X, R2

Xbox: L, R, Up, A, Black

Gamecube: L, R, Up, A, Z

The PC version of the game handles codes slightly differently. To enter a code, press control + shift + c to open the console and then enter the cheats you want. Type in 'help' for a list of useable cheat codes.
