Hi I'm Vincent Modica for About.com. And today I'm going to show you some cheats to keep you safe in the underworld of Liberty City, in Grand Theft Auto 4 for the Playstation 3. Grand Theft Auto 4 is the first next generation installment of the best selling series. In the game you play as Nico Belic an eastern european immigrant who has come to America for a better life.
How to Enter Cheat Codes in Grand Theft Auto 4: Liberty City
Once you receive your cell phone from your cousin after the first mission you can access the phone at anytime by pressing up on the D-Pad. By pressing up twice it will allow you to access the keypad. Where all cheats are entered form. Dial the number and hit send to enter the cheat. Once entered you can access your cheats at anytime by going through your phone to the cheat menu. A note though entering the phone cheats may disable trophies.
Cheat Codes for Weapons
Fresh off the boat no weapons? Use the poor weapons cheat to gain the knife, pistol, pump action shotgun, micro SMG, Assault rifle, sniper rifle, RPG, and Molotov cocktail. Dial 486-555-0150. No ride? Stuck at the bus stop? Here are some vehicle cheats to get you going. Ride with speed and class with the Super GT. Dial 227-555-0168. Or you could annihilate your enemies with Annihilator attack helicopter. Dial 359-555-0100. Get air sick? Need a boat? Head to the water and spawn a Jetmax. Dial 938-555-0100.

This cheat will give you the health, armor and ammo to keep you going. Dial 482-555-0100. Cops breathing down your neck? Lower your wanted level with this cheat. 267-555-0100. Rain keeping you down?
