Transcript:Vegetarian Lasagna

Today, I’m going to teach you how to make, vegetarian lasagna.

Vegetarian Lasagna Ingredients

For this, you will need:
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 6 oz can of tomato paste
  • 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
  • 5 oz of cheese
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 16 oz package of no boil lasagna
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons basil
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1 bunch spinach
  • bay leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper, optional
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Layer the Vegetarian Lasagna

Heat up the olive oil.Sauté garlic and onions for 2 minutes. Add basil, thyme, oregano and red peppers.Stir in tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Add spinach.Add bay leaves, salt and pepper. Let simmer 10 minutes.

Bake the Lasagna

Arrange sauce, noodles and cheeses as follows: layer of sauce, layer of cheese, layer of noodles.Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, saving some cheese for the top. Cook in oven until top starts to brown. Approximately 30 minutes.
