Hi I'm Don Schechter for About.com Computing. Today, I'll show you how to export data in Microsoft Excel to a Word document.Copy Excel Cells to a Word Document
- OPEN Excel and Word
- SELECT the range of the table you want in Excel
- CLICK Edit / Copy
- CLICK Edit / Paste in Word*
Export Excel Data to Word
- CLICK File / Save As for Excel document
- CLICK 'CSV (comma delimited)' or 'Text (tab delimited)' option for its file type
- RENAME File, now it is a .csv file
- CLICK File / Open in Word and open the .csv file you just made
- CLICK Table / Convert / Text to Table
- SELECT at bottom to separate text by commas
- CLICK OK
