Hi I'm Don Schechter for About.com Computing. Today, I'll show you how to export data in Microsoft Excel to a Word document.

Copy Excel Cells to a Word Document

OPEN Excel and Word
SELECT the range of the table you want in Excel
CLICK Edit / Copy
CLICK Edit / Paste in Word*

*The sizes of the cells are different, but you can play with the size of the table.

Export Excel Data to Word

CLICK File / Save As for Excel document
CLICK 'CSV (comma delimited)' or 'Text (tab delimited)' option for its file type
RENAME File, now it is a .csv file
CLICK File / Open in Word and open the .csv file you just made
CLICK Table / Convert / Text to Table
SELECT at bottom to separate text by commas
CLICK OK
