Transcript:How to Tone Chest and Arms With Plyometrics

Hi! I am Michelle from Michelle Fitness. I am here with About.com, demonstrating chest and arm plyometric exercises.

Plyometric Exercises

I am going to begin on a small platform. Bringing my toes back and my arms down into a plank position, more advanced, your feet will be together. Beginners, intermediates, the further you step apart, the easier this will be for you, and just extending and do a pushup with one side and then moving to the other side. Then what I will do is pass from side-to-side.

Plank Position

The second exercise that I am going to do is in plank position in a low plank to start. You will take your toes back and come up and down. Try not to wiggle your waist, up and down, keeping your arms nice and straight at the top, coming down with control onto your forearms.

The further apart your feet are, the more control you will have, the closer and the more advanced this is. You decide what's best for your level.

Traveling Plank Position

We are now going to do a traveling plank position. Your abs are nice and tight, your wrists are in alignment with your shoulders. You will bring your palms together and your feet apart the same time you separate your palms, traveling down the length of the mat. It's up to you to decide how many passes that you want to do.

And that's it for our chest and arm plyometric exercises. For more information visit About.com.
