Transcript:How to Make Taco Soup
Hi, I'm Gary Chisholm with About.com, and today we're making taco soup, a dish you can find on About.com's Southern Food site.Ingredients for Taco Soup
For this recipe you'll need:- Two pounds of ground beef
- One onion
- One pack of dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
- One pack of taco seasoning
- One can of Rotel tomatoes
- One can of Mexican style stewed tomatoes
- One can of whole kernel corn
- One can of pinto beans
- And two and a half cups of water
Instructions for Making Taco Soup
Heat oil in a large stock pot. Add the beef and chopped onions. Heat on medium-high until the beef is browned all the way through.Add in about two and a half cups of water. Then add the pinto beans, corn, tomatoes, Hidden Valley Ranch and taco seasonings.Cover and simmer on medium-low heat for an hour.That's it! This one's as easy as they come, and really tasty.
