Transcript:How to Make Photo Greeting CardsHi, I'm Rebecca Ludens for About.com Home and Garden. Today I'm going to show you how to make your own photo greeting cards and announcements.
Homemade Greeting Card SuppliesYou will need:
- copies of your photos
- a trimmer
Make a Greeting Card EnvelopeTo start, select envelopes the size that you would like your photo card to be. Measure the envelope to determine the exact size of your cards. Select a cardstock color that accents your photos. Use your trimmer to cut the background cardstock to size to fit in the envelope.
Trim the Card to Fit the EnvelopeCrop your photo so that it fits on your background paper leaving room for a message or greeting.
Add a Message to the CardPrint out your message on cardstock and trim to fit on your card. Add simple embellishments such as punches or stickers to complete your card. This same simple process can be used to create cards and announcements that work with any theme. Thanks for watching, to learn more, visit us on the Web at homegarden.about.com.
