How can I tell if my teen is drinking alcohol?Signs That a Teen May Be Drinking Alcohol
There are three signs that might mean your teen is using alcohol.The first are physical signs. Your teen might come home and they might be off balance, they might be laughing more than usual, or they might head straight to their bedroom. Or, if it’s the day after, you might see signs of being extra tired, nausea, maybe they’re in the bathroom more frequently than they used to be.
The second thing is you’re losing money more frequently. Maybe they’re getting into your purse or wallet and taking money, or asking you for money more often.
The third thing is you’re seeing signs of depression: mood changes, irritability, crying more often; also behaviors such as failing out of school, and more defiance in following your directions.
