The first sign is avoidance – either physically avoiding you, or if they are in a conversation with you they are not making eye contact. They also might be avoiding the conversation by trying to change subjects.The second thing is that they are quick to being defensive. You might notice that emotionally they are getting upset. This could indicate that they don’t want to talk to you because they are lying, to try to hide something.
The third thing is that they don’t want to engage in a conversation with you about what their plans are for the evening, and they also don’t want to compromise on that plan. This could be an indicator that they are lying to you.
