Transcript:Quick Tip: How to Pack a TV
Hi, I’m Jesse Meadows for About.com. And today I’m going to show you how to pack a TV.
Gather the Packing Materials
You’ll need packing paper or plastic bags, a blanket or towel, scissors, tape, a box and a sharpie.
Securing the TV
First, unplug all cables, fold them up and tape them securely. Next, take a blanket or towel and wrap the TV. Tape it up securely. You can wrap the TV with multiple blankets, or bubble wrap if you'd like. Line a box with crumpled newspaper or plastic bags and place the TV inside. Make sure to fill any empty space so the TV has no room to move around in the box. You can use bedding pillows or clothes to save space and add extra protection.
