Zoe Saldana – 'Aisha' in The Losers

I want to know about the training you went through for this, because you're used to action films now but this had to be a lot different.

Zoe Saldana: "It was because for Avatar I trained more for sort of like a graceful form of martial arts, and for this one it was more combat training – more soldier kind of training with guns and everything. And it was tons of fun. I really like getting my ass kicked because it pushes me. And I'm really feisty by nature so the more 'nos' I hear or, 'I'm disappointed in you,' or 'Get up!' – I'm like, 'I'm right here, honey.' I felt like being the only girl in the cast, that was the least that I could do is to tough it up and not be like, 'I can't do it. My nails are fragile.' I really wanted to be one of the guys, and I was."

What was the most fun scene for you to shoot?

Zoe Saldana: "I think it was the hotel scene. The hotel room scene was so much fun. It took them a month and a half to choreograph, put together, and rehearse. And then we shot it for like two days and it was wonderful. It was thrilling, too. It was like you were on this constant adrenaline rush for two days straight. And then the end product was awesome."

Are you ready for Losers 2

Zoe Saldana: "Yeah, that'd be great. But you guys all have to go watch it and then there will be a second one."

Jason Patric – 'Max' in The Losers

You're not a bad guy in most movies. You're always the good guy, so what's it like changing things up?

Jason Patric: "I just…you know, I didn't wear any underwear and I think that helps a little bit. A little free swinging… It was fun pulling the strings a little bit."

Is this a good crew to be working with?

Jason Patric: "They're all very nice. I didn't work with most of them, I'm by myself most of the time but we had drinks afterwards and that was good."

Why do you think comic book adaptations are still so popular?

Jason Patric: "They're a good palette. They have good stories that are interesting and they tend to take their time and credit these characters visually as well as textually, and I think that lends itself to a good movie because so many movies now are just so horribly written."

How does this compare to other comic book adaptations?

Jason Patric: "I don't know. I haven't seen the movie. And once again I'm so separate from the rest of the rest of the guys, I’m just doing my thing."

What was director Sylvain White like on the set because he's ready to go out and do Losers 2?

Jason Patric: "He was good. He's a nice guy."

He had a real specific vision.

Jason Patric: "He did, but he had a lot of room. I had a lot of room to create the character."

How easy was he to get into, besides the underwear thing?

Jason Patric: "That helped, and then I was in. And once you stay in, you stay in."
