Zac Efron – Breakthrough Performer of the Year Award Winner

What's it like living your life now having grown up on the screen in front of everyone?

Zac Efron: "Every day is exciting. You know, every day is exciting. It's full of challenges. Honestly growing up, I didn't know that this is what I wanted to do, but I'm so glad that I did find this because there's nothing more I want out of life than to wake up and have a purpose, have a goal, and to be able to share it with the world. I'm still pretty young and to have worked and to have accomplished what I have thus far has been the wildest ride. And I'm grateful to have the opportunity."

Is it strange to look at yourself on a giant screen from two years ago and then look at yourself in films now?

Zac Efron: "It's funny and strange. Absolutely. But I feel like I'm representing myself and being myself, and so yeah here I am. I guess I am growing up in front of you guys. It's not always easy but I think the benefits are awesome."

Is it true you'll be starring in Ohio with Robert Pattinson and Justin Timberlake?

Zac Efron: "I don't know anything about that at this point. It sounds like a great idea. We could make it happen, I'm sure, if we all got together. But no, I don't know anything about that at this point. I found out when you did. I think that sounds like an amazing cast so I'd be honored."
