Dwayne Johnson and Director Andy Fickman
Does it ever get old having people yell like that when you show up in a room?Dwayne Johnson: "You know, it's really just a cool thing – especially when the energy is that high and they're so excited. They were so excited just the fact to come here and see the movie, and then the fact that we came, and then the fact we gave away the gifts we gave away it really made it special."
How easy is it for you guys to click again after you've done one movie together?
Dwayne Johnson: "I'll let you answer that."
Andy Fickman: "Well, after surviving the horrible time on The Game Plan, we just learned how not to avoid each other on the set. Don't look in each other's eyes. And more importantly, I think Dwayne respects the director's relationship that I have the final say in everything."
Does he actually have the final say?
Andy Fickman: "Yes!"
Dwayne Johnson: "Yes, he does. Contractually he does…"
And contractually, is there going to…
Dwayne Johnson: "But…"
Is there a 'but'?
Dwayne Johnson: "No."
Contractually, number three, will you get together again?
Andy Fickman: "This would be so much fun. We had such a good time on The Game Plan and that's where that energy comes from. Everything that we created for Race to Witch Mountain, that's just coming off of each other like that so I think future movies that we're going to do together really are about that energy that we feed off of each other. Plus, we look very similar."
Dwayne Johnson: "It's like looking in the mirror."
Andy Fickman: "It really is. You look like a short Jewish guy. "
Dwayne Johnson: "And you look like a tall Samoan."
Andy Fickman: "I know."
Dwayne Johnson: "Only female."
Only female?
Andy Fickman: "I don't know why he's a female, but apparently he just declared he was. And backfire."
What can audiences expect from this?
Dwayne Johnson: "They can expect a great ride. We had intentions on making a movie that was thoroughly entertaining from top to bottom and told a great story, and it was fun for everybody - and the feel of a ride."
