Wanted Cast Interviews - James McAvoy, Terence Stamp
The LA Film Festival wasn't the best place to try and catch interviews with the stars of 'Wanted.' As you'll see in this video, James McAvoy shouted his 3-word answer before entering the theater, but some of his costars did hang out and chat.

Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the Los Angeles Film Festival Special Screening of Wanted.
Terence Stamp ('Pekwar')
You've said that you actually want to do a Wanted 2 already. Why did you enjoy this movie so much?
Terence Stamp: "It's always wonderful to work with a director who really knows what he's doing, who's got an original vision. And at this point in my life it's wonderful to still be working for characters like that, you know?"
I would imagine the script doesn't look much like what we see on the screen, so how did you know it was going to transfer so well?
Terence Stamp: "You never really know that, but I just knew I heard that he was absolutely wonderful. And that the producer was a kind of a creative producer, this guy Marc Platt, and creative producers are really thin on the ground. They just are rare. They're like UFOs. Lots of people say they've seen them but very few of us have."
Kristen Hager ('Cathy')
You have an interesting character
Kristen Hager: "I definitely do. I'm a bit aggressive in a lot of ways about many things. And I'm not very nice. As you know, I'm having an affair with his best friend. But I'm just not happy with the relationship. I think that I really wanted James [McAvoy's] character to get a promotion, start making decisions for himself, being a man. He doesn't, so I find a man. But then he finds a woman and a team of people and leaves me behind, so I lose out."
When you read the script and saw this character, what really grabbed you?
Kristen Hager: "Actually I originally auditioned for the Fox role [Angelina Jolie's role in the film]. I did want to kick some ass. That didn't work out so then this role, they offered it. But I mean Cathy, she's fun. It was a great role to play. You know, she seems one-sided in the sense that she's always angry about everything, but underneath she's a really emotional woman as many women are."
I hear this director is a very interesting man to be working with so tell me what he was like on the set.
Kristen Hager: "Oh, wonderful. You know, he clearly knows exactly what he wants, which is great. And he lays everything out simply, easy to work with Just has a vision and I think that he definitely got his vision."
Lorna Scott ('Janice')
You play a very mean boss in this, so how tough was it to get into that character?
Lorna Scott: "Oh boy, it wasn't that hard because I'm pretty much a bitch anyway. Well, everybody's got their days. What can I say? But it was just a lot of fun. And the sad thing about Janice is she's just miserable in her job. She's like all of us, you know, and she just takes it out on her employees and doesn't even realize that she's spreading her misery everywhere she goes. But you know, that happens to the best of us. I don't think she's really evil at heart. I think she's actually very sweet. She really wants to be happy and wants to get along. And she has this connection with James with Wesley, the character and I think that shows in the film, too."
You are very mean to [James McAvoy] in the film. How is he like on the set, the relationship between the two of you?
Lorna Scott: "Oh, he's mean to me. He hit me. He's terrific. He's so giving and so much fun. We were hot there, too. They had no air conditioning in the soundstage so every time I see him I'm hot. Maybe it's a gene thing pheromones."
James McAvoy ('Wesley')
James, why should people see this movie?
James McAvoy: "Because it's good fun..."
