Taylor Lautner - 'Jacob' in New Moon - Part 2
What was your favorite scene to shoot?
Kristen Stewart: "Your favorite scene didn't turn out to be your favorite one, right?"
Taylor Lautner: "I have a lot of favorite scenes. This is a really difficult question for me. I like a lot of the really cool action scenes because I had a lot of fun with those. My original favorite was this really small scene. I just thought it was kind of cute. It was the scene where I walk her up to her door to say good-bye to her, and I'm going off to fight in the woods. She's worried. She's scared for me. I thought it was kind of cute. But no, I also like the break up scene."
Kristen Stewart: "We call it a break up scene because he basically tells her that they can't be friends anymore. He's transforming. If you ever, ever treated me like that, you'd kill me."
Taylor Lautner: "It was also painful to shoot because it was 35 degrees and we were being poured rain on by rain tower rain, which is straight from the springs so it's ice cold. It was bad and I wasn't really wearing much."
Which of the Twilight books is your favorite?
Taylor Lautner: "My favorite book was actually Eclipse so I'm pretty excited. It's got action. I mean the action levels continue to build in this series, so I think that I enjoy that. But also the fact that, you know, Twilight sets up the romance between Bella and Edward, and then Bella and Jacob's friendship grows in New Moon. But in Eclipse, it's the three of them actually physically together. And we have to team up and make this decision to protect her. So I think that is like the ultimate high point of the series where it's the love triangle in Eclipse. So I'm excited to get going."
What Twilight question do you never want to be asked again?
Taylor Lautner: "To growl. Actually I'm asked that more by fans. They ask me to growl for them, and I really don't enjoy doing that. So that's for the fans. Please don't ask me to growl. Just wait for the movie."
