Audrina Patridge - 'Megan' in Sorority Row
I hear you're a fan of horror.
Audrina Patridge: "I'm a huge fan of horror. Always have been."
Why?
Audrina Patridge: "I just like that adrenaline. I like jumping, you know, and just getting scared. But then I can't be alone after."
And you spit up blood in this? Is that true?
Audrina Patridge: "Yeah, I had to hold it in the back of my throat. Sometimes I just had to sit up and spit it out and re-do it because it was so hard."
You signed on to this knowing you were going to have to do that?
Audrina Patridge: "Yeah. I mean, I love the movie. I love the script. It was an experience that I'll never forget. I've always wanted to be involved in a horror film, so..."
And you had to lay there in the dirt in 20 degree weather?
Audrina Patridge: "Yes."
How did you do that?
Audrina Patridge: "I don't know. I was trying not to shake because I'm trying to look dead. I'm trying to look dead, trying not to shake, holding the blood in my mouth - it was a challenge."
Carrie Fisher - 'Mrs Crenshaw' in Sorority Row
You play a boozy housemother...is that how she's described?
Carrie Fisher: "I like that. I didn't know about the boozy. But yeah, I probably play a floozy and busty - I'm going to get a breast reduction for the sequel."
Really?
Carrie Fisher: "No. I do play a very, I don't know, probably a wry, exhausted, middle-aged housemother."
What is the appeal of this type of movie for you at this point in your career?
Carrie Fisher: "I can't see horror films. I really get scared."
So you don't watch them at all?
Carrie Fisher: "Rarely. I, certainly, obviously I have. If I know that there's all that gore and stuff, it just makes me pass out."
So you're not going to be watching it now?
Carrie Fisher: "We'll see how it goes. I'm here with my daughter and her boyfriend so maybe I'll be able to. Really, they seriously, seriously scare me."
Working on the set with this beautiful young girls, was it refreshing for you to see a woman-dominated film where they're not catty and backstabbing?
Carrie Fisher: "And having a good time. No, absolutely. And these are all really nice girls and they were having a good time. They made Pittsburgh fun...not that Pittsburgh isn't fun."
Cisco Adler and Shwayze
Tell me about doing the song for this.
Cisco Adler: "Well, the song was actually already written. It's for our new record 'Let It Beat' which comes out November 3rd. And then we heard that they liked it and it was going in the film, so we decided to tie it into the music video, which was amazing. We got to work with the whole cast - Rumer [Willis], Briana [Evigan], everyone. It was really fun."
Are you guys horror fans?
Shwayze: "Sure."
Cisco Adler: "Yes, I am."
What can we expect from your 1st album?
Cisco Adler: "This is our second album."
Shwayze: "You know what? If you got the first record, it's a definite evolution. You know what I mean? We're more than just acoustic guitar and rapping about women and weed and I think we show this in this next record."
Cisco Adler: "Yeah. We turn up the volume a little. It bumps a little harder. There's some dance tracks. We got Snoop Doggy Dog on a track. We got Ric Ocasek from The Cars on a track. We got Roy Bittan from the E Street Band on a track. We're all over the board."
