Transcript: Role Models-Joe Lo Truglio, A.D. Miles, Ken Marino Interview

Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the World Premiere of Role Models.

Joe Lo Truglio ('Kuzzik'), A.D. Miles ('Martin') and Writer Ken Marino ('Jim')

A.D. Miles: "Whenever I make a rotisserie chicken I just go to About.com and it's like, 'Here's how you make a rotisserie chicken.'"

Joe Lo Truglio: "Do you have a good recipe that you can tell them?"

A.D. Miles: "Yes. You do a good sage rub on the outside. You put butter underneath the skin, you know? You inject butter underneath the skin. You put it on your rotisserie for about an hour. 20 minutes per pound."

Joe Lo Truglio: "I'm getting hungry as we speak."

You should have brought it with you and shared it on the red carpet.

A.D. Miles: "I normally bring a rotisserie chicken but I was in a rush tonight."

Joe Lo Truglio: "He's always bringing his grill."

You're playing a volunteer in this that just is a little too ambitious, a little too in there and helping things out. What was that like?

A.D. Miles: "Well, I had to channel a nerd, which I really had to stretch my legs a little bit. I had to put down the gun which I normally carry in roles that I play."

Joe Lo Truglio: "I think you're a stud."

A.D. Miles: "No, but I got to be a nerd in this movie which was such a great stretch of my legs."

And he was responsible for writing your nerd part, right?

A.D. Miles: "Exactly. It was Ken."

Ken Marino: "All of the funny lines were improvised by A.D. Miles."

Joe Lo Truglio: "We finally know now. This is what's great. I've known these guys for such a long time. They're dear, dear friends. And we made a movie and About.com is interviewing us."

Ken Marino: "You know what's interesting? You guys can't smell out there how much Joe reeks of alcohol. He's so drunk right now. It's unbelievable."

I wasn't going to say anything but…

A.D. Miles: "Too much Cuervo. Too much Cuervo. Thank you for the case of Cuervo."

Joe Lo Truglio: "It's not Jack Daniels. Definitely not Jack Daniels."

Ken, do you mind when they change your words around?

Ken Marino: "No, I'm thrilled about it. As long as it's funny."

Joe Lo Truglio: "Do you know how you tell when a person's lying? There's a furrow in his brow. And he was so upset every time we changed every little word. 'No, Joe. It's a sword not the sword.' He got into… It was crazy."

A.D. Miles: "In his defense, a sword is much funnier."

Joe Lo Truglio: "Well, that's true but that's not the point I'm trying to make though. It is funnier, that's why he's the writer. But as an actor, I like to express and feel like I can do what I want to do and say what I want to say. That's all I'm saying."

A.D. Miles: "But in the movie it's a sword."

Ken Marino: "It's a shame you didn't shave for the premiere."

One last question. What sets this apart from every other R-rated comedy?

A.D. Miles: "Heart. It's got heart."

Ken Marino: "And boobs. It's got naked boobies in it."

A.D. Miles: "Heart and boobs."

Why should I see it?

A.D. Miles: "Because of the boobs."

Joe Lo Truglio: "This is what makes it great."

A.D. Miles: "Because of Paul Rudd."

Joe Lo Truglio: "It's got no Act II. It just goes from Act I to Act III, which is amazing. We're trying to bust the formula. This is what makes it different. We set it up and it's done."

Ken Marino: "And the movie is riddled with boobs."

A.D. Miles: "Set-up, pay-off. Set-up, pay-off. Plus boobs."
