Ray Park - 'Snake Eyes' in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

So you have this tiny, tiny movie coming up that you're in.

Ray Park: "Tiny - it's small."

Is it as crazy as it looks in the trailer?

Ray Park: "You know what? The movie is awesome. I actually had the privilege of seeing it on Monday. And Stephen Sommers - I love Stephen, he's a great director. I've been very lucky to work with some fantastic directors, fantastic cast members. And I'm a GI Joe fan. Hence, why I got into martial arts and why I wanted to be a ninja. Now I'm Snake Eyes. It's a great movie."

Is it a movie for women, too?

Ray Park: "My wife sat here beside me and I kept on saying, 'Do you like it?' She loved it. Normally my wife falls asleep in action movies, so she really liked it. She loved it. It's a movie for kids, women, children, guys...it's a good movie."

What about your action in it?

Ray Park: "Awesome. I mean I don't get employed for my good looks."

Yes you do.

Ray Park: "No, I get employed for my [action skills]."

Is that what you actually do in the movie?

Ray Park: "Everything. I do everything."

Is there a lot of green screen? Did you have to battle a lot against things that weren't there?

Ray Park: "Not as much as Star Wars. I mean Star Wars there was a lot of blue screen and green screen and pink screen, but in this movie for me it was all raw action. I mean the guys are great. I got to play a ninja. I got into martial arts because I wanted to become a samurai and a ninja. I lived out my dream. I'm very lucky to live out my childhood fantasies."

You have the best job in the world to be able to do what you want to do.

Ray Park: "I'm Peter Pan."

Is there going to be a sequel?

Ray Park: "I hope so."

They don't kill off your character or anything?

Ray Park: "I'm a good guy."

Good guys can die.

Ray Park: "And come back. You know for the first time in my life I'm the best good guy ever, in my mind. I'm very proud of this role. I love this role. I love playing bad guys. But a good guy is a nice change. I love it."
