Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana) and Shawn Johnson (Dancing with the Stars)
Are you guys huge fans of Terminator? Is that what’s bringing you out here today?Shawn Johnson: "I got the invite and I've been practicing a lot so it was a great break. But yeah, I've watched all of them."
Are they giving you time off?
Shawn Johnson: "Not really."
Mitchel Musso: "She goes back after this. She danced for six hours today, goes back for three more later on tonight."
Is that really what the schedule's like? Is it really that tough?
Mitchel Musso: "It's ridiculous."
Did you know that going in, that it was going to be that tough?
Shawn Johnson: "I'd heard stories, but I never imagined that I'd have to do it."
Mitchel Musso: "You've seen her perform, right? You realize how much - you know what I mean? It takes that much time to get that out. She got all 10s last week."
How difficult is it to when you were exercising for gymnastics?
Shawn Johnson: "I don't really think it's comparable. It's two different sports completely. It's something I've never done before so it's extremely hard. I'm sore every day. After nine hours of practice, I can barely move. It's challenging, but I trained for 16 years for the Olympics and this has only been 10 weeks."
And will you be done with it when you're done with it? No more?
Shawn Johnson: "I don't know. I doubt I'll be cha-cha'ing anywhere soon. But, you know, maybe sometime."
So are you going to be on it next?
Mitchel Musso: "No ma'am. This one is not a dancer nor an Olympian. Neither of those for me."
Shawn Johnson: "I think he should. I think it'd be fun."
You have to represent.
Mitchel Musso: "I would. I totally would represent, but that sounds like too much dancing for me. My body, I'm too lazy for that. That's too much."
You should never admit that.
Mitchel Musso: "I mean, think about that. Six hours this morning and then back for three hours… Come on."
What are you keeping busy with now?
Mitchel Musso: "Music. I've been doing lots of music. I've got my album dropping June 2nd. I'm turning 18 this year, July 9th, in the summer. I've got tours booked around. I'm doing a Live Nation tour so House of Blues. I tour with my older brother's band, Metro Station, for a little bit. Lots of good stuff - I'm excited. Lots of musical stuff."
