Amaury Nolasco ('Jack Lupino')

You get to play a really bad guy.

Amaury Nolasco: "I did."

Is that fun?

Amaury Nolasco: "Very much so. You know after playing a good guy in Prison Break for the past four years, villains have more fun."

Do they really?

Amaury Nolasco: "I do. We get to do all these things that in real life we wouldn't be able to do."

You get to tap into that dark side?

Amaury Nolasco: "Exactly. You know, I would be in prison if I was doing the things I was doing. So I get to have a license to do all these things – and I get paid for it."

Do you get to do a lot of effects, a lot of green screen work?

Amaury Nolasco: "Actually I didn't. eVeryting I did was practical. No, no. But I'm pretty sure there's a lot of CGI, but I didn't do any of it."

How did you get prepared for this one?

Amaury Nolasco: "You know, a lot of dark places. No, I'm kidding. Luckily I had great teachers who taught me how to go to a few places, create all these things. You know, when we were kids we used to believe everything. We used to make our own imagination. That's what I did. I think I'm still a kid. You create all this scenario and you become a bad guy. And then they say, 'Wrap,' and you go back to your hotel and you're a good guy again."

Did you play Max Payne? Were you a video game fan?

Amaury Nolasco: "I never did. It was funny, I got stuck in Atari so I'm giving my age now. But I got stuck on Atari and I never played Nintendo or ColecoVision or PlayStation or X-Box for that matter. It's funny because all my boys have them. So now I'm getting to know all these buttons and whatnot. I never knew about the game. I didn't know about the game, I tell you. I learned and I read the script – a few times."
