Terry Crews - 'Jimmy the Driver' in Lottery Ticket
I always love seeing you.Terry Crews: "And I love seeing you, too. This is wonderful."
And you've got a million movies.
Terry Crews: "This is awesome. I'm in everything! I'm in everything!"
And you kick ass in The Expendables. I love that gun.
Terry Crews: "Isn't it great. I'm just so happy to be in so many different kinds of movies. You know what I mean? Middle Men is an indie, this is an urban comedy, Expendables is action - and I really have created... I'm so happy to have a four, five way go because it just means longevity. I want to work forever. I really do."
People keep putting you to work which is awesome because we love watching you on the screen.
Terry Crews: "It's awesome. Ice Cube has been literally my mentor in this business. He's one of the hottest producers out. He put me in this movie. He put me in Friday After Next. This guy is, let me tell you, I'd do anything for Cube. It's a wonderful thing."
Tell me why people should see Lottery Ticket.
Terry Crews: "It's the family movie of the summer. And I mean not just urban comedy - it's family. People can enjoy this. It reminds you of Barbershop. It's one of those things that everybody just gets into, and you just have a riotous good time. It's the last real good laugh of the summertime."
Bill Bellamy - 'Giovanni' in Lottery Ticket
This cast has so many funny people in it. How do you keep a straight face on the set?Bill Bellamy: "This movie's intended to make people laugh, flat-out comedy, summer comedy, good times, great theme. You know, hitting the lottery. Who doesn't want to hit the lottery or have a fantasy of hitting the lottery? So you get all these comedians together, I think we've got a good stew. So, enjoy."
And director Erik White let you play around.
Bill Bellamy: "Yeah, Erik let me do all kinds of crazy stuff. He and I created this character, Giovanni, who is the du rag model. Everywhere he goes, hears a du rag. He's like this cool model cat. He's on all the buses, all the billboards. He's got the ladies. I make the hood look good - that's what I do."
And you created the character with Erik?
Bill Bellamy: "Yes. When you see the movie you'll see it's like a throwback to the Soul Glo guy from Coming to America."
