Adrianne Palicki - Legion
Tyrese Gibson said he's not allowed to say anything about it - what happens - but then he kept pointing to you and saying it's all your fault.
Adrianne Palicki: "It's not my fault. I just happen to have this thing in my body that's kind of the future of mankind, so it's kind of a big deal."
A big responsibility.
Adrianne Palicki: "And everybody is like trying to kill me, you know? Him, too... Well, he's not trying to kill me but they're trying to kill him because he's with me. So it's just a whole thing. He's harboring a lot of anger toward me to this day."
Is he really?
Adrianne Palicki: "No."
So you do a lot of action? You're like a stunt woman all over the place?
Adrianne Palicki: "Yeah. It's just kind of difficult with a 10 pound belly on. They weighted it so that when the action stuff happened I wasn't just trawling around like, 'Hey guys, what's up?' So, you know, I carried that around for 11 hours a day which was a really great form of birth control."
How long did it take you to get used to it?
Adrianne Palicki: "About three months...two months...the duration of the film. I loved the attention that came with it though. I mean, doors would open and everybody was just so sweet. I'm like, 'You know it's fake? I'm not going to tell ya. I'll let you treat me like that.'"
So did you wear it when you were off filming and out walking in stores?
Adrianne Palicki: "In bars. 'Can I get three shots of Tequila?' Smoke a cigarette... Yeah, it didn't go over very well."
This director comes from a special effects background and it's his first film. What did you think of him?
Adrianne Palicki: "I think he's a fantastic director. It's always iffy with a first time director. But he knew exactly what he wanted. He was so passionate about the film, and really collaborative. Wanted to know what we wanted to do, and just really cared about the actors. It was really enjoyable."
