I particularly loved the scene with you and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.Josh Brolin: "Oh good, good."
How was filming that?
Josh Brolin: "That was great, actually. Thank you for being specific."
It was my favorite scene.
Josh Brolin: "I liked it. And we somebody else who ended up dropping out and going and doing...because of work. And Jeffrey came in, who I didn't know but I loved him in Watchmen, and we just got along right away. And I loved what he did. I loved what he did, so it was - to answer your question - that was one of the highlights."
I'll tell you what, I wanted more of you guys together. So is the next one going to bring him back?
Josh Brolin: "That's up to you. You put people in the seats and they want another one, we'll do another one and I'll make sure to fit Jeffrey Dean Morgan in there a lot."
How do you talk with that make-up?
Josh Brolin: "I have no idea. It was such a pain."
You have a really good growl.
Josh Brolin: "That's what I did instead of talk, I growled. I had to. That kind of Freddy Krueger, Nick Nolte - I don't know what it was. But it was tough because I kept getting cut every day, so every time I smoke... And smoking cigarettes is bad, by the way, very bad. When I smoked I had to cover up the hole and then do this. It was a pain."
And you went through all that just to smoke?
Josh Brolin: "I went through... You're right. I'm going to quit. You're right."
You couldn't have taken one day off from smoking?
Josh Brolin: "I can't. You can't when you're addicted. Don't start smoking because you can't take a day off. And if you smoke, the Celtics will win."
[Note: The Lakers and Celtics were playing the 7th game of the series at the same time as this premiere, and Brolin's a big Lakers fan.]
