Jamie Chung - 'Amber' in Sucker Punch

So talk about working with Zack and what he put you through for this role.

Jamie Chung: "Oh, wow. You know, Zack has such a clear vision and he's pretty meticulous about detail so he wanted to make sure that we were physically fit for the part. It's not a facade. He wanted us to lift up these weapons. He wanted us to be physically strong on film. For three months prior we worked with Navy SEALS. We worked with some of the best stunt choreographer. We had a dance choreographer for our dance bits. You know, the training was endless but it was so worth it."

And then you have to do it all in these sexy outfits.

Jamie Chung: "Yeah. We kind of had it all. Girls, if you're living in a fantasy in your mind and you go on these adventures, you don't want to be in your pjs. You want look as hot as you can possibly be. They're pretty bad-ass and they really helped transform us into these characters and these sub-realities."

This is one of the few action movies that's female-oriented. How nice is it to be in a movie that promotes that female power?

Jamie Chung: "It's fantastic. It's rare that you see a movie with five girls that kind of take their fate into their own hands and rescue themselves, versus waiting for someone to rescue them. They're not your typical damsels in distress."

And then you transitioned from this into The Hangover 2?

Jamie Chung: "Yes."

It's a lot more male-oriented.

Jamie Chung: "I know. It was interesting to go from a female ensemble cast and it was like it's my girl gang - they're my girls - and kind of transitioning into someone else's group. But they were so warm and welcoming, and so funny. They were a pleasure to be around."

Can you tease what your part is?

Jamie Chung: "I play Stu's fiancee, her name is Lauren. She's Thai American, so that's why the wedding is supposed to take place in Thailand."

Do you get to the wedding ever? Do you get the big white dress?

Jamie Chung: "I got all... Yeah, I had my gowns but..."

Is it going to live up to the first one, because the first one blew away records.

Jamie Chung: "Oh my gosh. I think people will be pleasantly surprised by how amazing this movie is. It's if not up to par, then better than the first one."

Tease us the scene that made you laugh the most.

Jamie Chung: "It's when they initially wake up. I feel like that is the ultimate peak of the movie."
