Jennifer Carpenter - Dexter
John Lithgow is incredible. What does he bring to Dexter this year?
Jennifer Carpenter: "What does he bring to it? He can shift gears like no one I've ever seen. He can be a monster, a serial killer, and then a second later he's a wounded little boy that you want to comfort. So to watch him make his transitions and pay such attention to detail, it makes us all step up our game a little bit. And the writers realized very early on that they could ask him to do anything and he was capable of it and wasn't afraid. So this season is insane."
I love that your character has even gotten stronger.
Jennifer Carpenter: "I feel that Deb has transformed more than any other character. Her vocabulary still suffers, but she's making better choices. She's a really talented cop. She's a really talented detective and wears her heart on her sleeve."
And you have Keith [Carradine] back again.
Jennifer Carpenter: "We do. He's amazing, and such a gift. He's such a beautiful craftsman."
