Emma Stone ('Natalie')
You've got two movies opening the same week.
Emma Stone: "Yes."
How's that feel?
Emma Stone: "Crazy, unexpected, and awesome. It's pretty amazing, yeah."
What was it like on the set with all of these fantastic actresses?
Emma Stone: "It was exactly what you said – fantastic. It really was. It was so cool to be a part of it. Yeah, I just feel so lucky now."
Is it easier to play the geek portion or the pretty Bunny-type portion?
Emma Stone: "The geek portion, for me at least. That was the most fun, definitely, because I just love doing comedy and she was a bit more of a character at that point. So yeah, that was a good time."
What about the film's message?
Emma Stone: "I think it sucks to make a movie about a message, right? Well I would say the message is just mainly learning about being yourself and who you really are. And that even if you stand out from the crowd or even if you don't, whoever you are is good enough at heart. Just have a little confidence and remain who you are and that's what counts. Because Shelley [Anna Faris' character] and Natalie, two totally different ends of the look spectrum, have a very similar soul. So it's good to know."
Rachel Specter ('Courtney')
So are you a good girl or a bad girl in this one?
Rachel Specter: "I'm a bad girl."
Is it fun to play a bad girl?
Rachel Specter: "It is because I'm so nice."
So it's playing against character.
Rachel Specter: "Exactly. "
What was it like on the set with all these women?
Rachel Specter: "It was fun. It was great to be in a comedy that was female-driven. So many girls on set are bound to lead to good times, so…"
Any cat fights or was it all nice?
Rachel Specter: "I can't tell you. Everyone was really great."
It has a positive message to it so how important was that for you to be involved in a project with a good message for young women?
Rachel Specter: "Oh yeah, it's definitely so important. That's what it's all about, you know?"
And you're also filming My One and Only?
Rachel Specter: "I did. I worked on that. It was a really great experience. I got to work with Renee Zellweger and Kevin Bacon. I was just in awe."
Who do you play in that one?
Rachel Specter: "I play a character that has, who maybe has a little affair with Kevin's character."
That's interesting. What was that set like?
Rachel Specter: "It was actually casual. I was pretty surprised. I didn't know what to expect going into it but everyone was really great to work with – and very sweet."
We know why women should see this movie but why should guys go see this movie?
Rachel Specter: "Because it has a lot of women in it."
