Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the Los Angeles Premiere of The House Bunny.

Anna Faris ('Shelley' and Executive Producer)

You were so instrumental behind the scenes in getting this made. How important was it for you to actually push it forward?

Anna Faris: "Oh, hugely. I really wanted to start to transition into being able to create my own projects. And this is the first time that I had a hand in that and it felt amazing. And I can't wait, hopefully, knock on wood somewhere, I'd love to do it again."

What did you learn from this that you would take to the next time and know to do better or stronger, or did you do it perfectly this time?

Anna Faris: "No, no. I mean, I don't think you… I think I learned that it's like taking pieces of eight different puzzles and trying to shove them all together. And it's really complicated, very difficult. There's a lot of people involved. Very inspirational and incredibly fun, but it's a long, difficult process and I think that, yeah, I feel very lucky to be standing here today."

And it isn't just about you making these girls over and making them look pretty. It's got an important message for women. Why was that so important for you to get out?

Anna Faris: "I felt like I didn't really want the message to be that you need to attract guys to feel good about yourself. And I wanted to make sure that my character, Shelley, it's clear that her priorities are a little skewed and a little confused, and not necessarily right. And that's a message I believe in."

And how fun was it to actually play a Playboy Bunny?

Anna Faris: "So fun - until I had to work out."

Are you really an honorary Bunny now?

Anna Faris: "Well, that's what they say. I'd like a medal or a badge or something."

Permanent ears?

Anna Faris: "Yes, totally!"
