Chris Hesse, Doug Robb, and Dan Estrin from Hoobastank

I hear you're huge Seth Rogen fans so that's what brought you out here.

Doug Robb: "Yeah. He's like the guy that we really are huge fans of."

Dan Estrin: "That's the guy you just want to have a beer with, kind of like George Bush. "

Senior?

Dan Estrin: "Senior? Not even. I think Seth Rogen, his deliver is great."

Doug Robb: "Comedy is timing."

Dan Estrin: "It is. And just reminds me of us and the friends that I grew up with and how we would joke around. I like the fact that he doesn't seem contrived and he's faking it, you know?"

Doug Robb: "It doesn't seem acted. It just seems like that's how he is, you know?"

Now would you guys want to be in a movie with him?

Doug Robb: "Yes. If he asked. I mean, no, we don't have any aspirations to."

Dan Estrin: "I have aspirations to. I've actually thought about this. I thought if they ever make a real life version to The Muppets, I think that he could be Foozie Bear. I think he would be a perfect Foozie Bear. And then I'd want to be Kermit or something like that."

Why would you want to be Kermit?

Dan Estrin: "I don't know. I just want to be Kermit. Just let me be Kermit! "

Okay, you can be Kermit. Who would you be then in this Muppet universe?

Doug Robb: "I would probably be Sam the Eagle."

Because that's you in real life?

Doug Robb: "I guess."

And who would you be?

Chris Hesse: "I'd want to be Beaker. Absolutely, yeah, hands down."

Can you do the Beaker noises?

Chris Hesse: "No. But I will work on that."

When does your next stuff come out?

Doug Robb: "Stuff… We have some stuff…"

CD.

Doug Robb: "Actually we just released a fourth CD late January. We were just in Japan up until a couple of days ago. We have a couple of weeks off and then we hit the road again in two weeks."

So in your couple of weeks off you wanted to see a Seth Rogen movie?

Doug Robb: "Yes. That was in Japan we all planned it out."

What's your favorite one so far? Is that putting you on the spot to ask that?

Doug Robb: "No, no. I think I actually really liked Knocked Up a lot."

Dan Estrin: "I like Pineapple Express."

And?

Chris Hesse: "Let's see…"

You have to pick something different.

Chris Hesse: "Yeah, I know I have to pick something different. I was going to say Knocked Up. "

Doug Robb: "How about this one? This is going to be your favorite."

Chris Hesse: "Here's hoping."
