Henry Cavill - 'Theseus' in Immortals
Talk about the working on this and the tone of the film.
Henry Cavill: "Well I think one of the great things about Tarsem [Singh] is that everything that he does is slightly amped up, especially the visuals. You'll see when you see it, it's spectacular."
I read online today people commenting on the picture that's been released of you shirtless in the film, and that seemed to be all they wanted to talk about. But there's more to the character than that, right?
Henry Cavill: "Oh, of course there is. Yeah, yeah. He does spend a lot of time with his shirt off, but there's a lot more. Basically, Theseus follows the journey of Athens to Marta. It's a difficult journey, with the guidance of an oracle. And unbeknownst to him, the guidance of the gods also."
Do you have to be a fan of Greek mythology to get into the movie?
Henry Cavill: "No, absolutely not."
And are you ready for Superman?
Henry Cavill: "I'm looking forward to it, yeah."
