Blake Lively - 'Carol Ferris' in Green Lantern

I have to say I'm not a Green Lantern person, so tell me why I'll like this movie even though I'm not into that world.

Blake Lively: "Well, I mean, comic movies are always fun but this one is really special because the production that takes place after we were on our set, the visual effects, the special effects, is so incredible and on such a grand level, unlike anything I've ever seen. Even down to his suit, you know, is CGI. Everything has life in it and everything is so artistic and so thought out. It's something that I just think is so exciting, you know, to explore such a vast world. He's not just a hero on earth, he's a hero in space so it takes place half and half."

"Also, Ryan is charming and so funny, and so human. He's a hero, but Hal Jordan doesn't necessarily want to be. He's not a super man, he's just a man. He inherits this responsibility and he's not sure that he wants it. To see Ryan, who plays things with such heart and humanity and humor, is just so appealing. I was thrilled to be a part of the movie, and I know I'd want to see the movie if I wasn't in it."

It sounds like there's not just these massive effects, that we're actually going to connect to these characters.

Blake Lively: "Yeah. Martin Campbell is a terrific director but his choice of having Ryan be the superhero tells you that you feel for a person a lot more. He's just so likable."

Are you ready to go back to this universe again?

Blake Lively: "Oh yeah, I would love to. She eventually becomes a villain in the comics so hopefully..."

Blake Lively: "Yeah, that would be fun!"
