Amanda Righetti - Friday the 13th and Role Models
Tell audiences what they can expect from Friday the 13th.
Amanda Righetti: "They can expect a lot of gore, lots of bodies are washing up from Jason. And it has sort of the best elements from the first four."
Being what? What do you think are the best elements of the first four?
Amanda Righetti: "Well I think some of the deaths, they've been a little bit altered but they still bring… I can't give it away. But yeah, some of the deaths and stuff, like I said some of them have been altered but some of them are completely new. I don't know – that's it."
Looking back on your experience is there one day where you really knew you were in a horror movie?
Amanda Righetti: "Every day, kind of, yeah."
Was there a day when you were like, "I'm covered in blood. What am I doing here?"
Amanda Righetti: "A lot of days were like that, you know? Warming up your voice for screaming and being covered in blood, running away from Jason and all that stuff."
How do you get ready to scream?
Amanda Righetti: "You know, I do some breathing exercises and just warm up my voice so that I don't come in the next day without a voice."
And you've also got Role Models, something totally different.
Amanda Righetti: "Yes, completely different. Comedy, which I'm really excited about. I think it's going to be funny."
Those guys like to do a lot of improv. Did you get to do some improv with them?
Amanda Righetti: "A little bit, yeah. Yeah. We did some. It was really fun and they're really sweet. Like, such funny guys. It was hard to not be cracking up laughing the whole time, you know? "
Who do you play in it?
Amanda Righetti : "I play Seann William Scott's love interest."
For all the women that want to know, what's it like being his love interest?
Amanda Righetti: "He's a doll. He's such a doll. He's really, really sweet and handsome and funny and smart, so it was a joy to work with him.
