Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the LA premiere of Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Jackson Rathbone - 'Jasper' in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
You got to use some interesting skills in this film.Jackson Rathbone: "I do. I get the chance to ride horses. I got to use my Last Airbender training to do a lot of fighting in this film training the rest of the Cullens how to fight. And I loved it - I had a great time doing it."
You get more action.
Jackson Rathbone: "A lot of action in this film. You know, we've got a vampire army attacking the Cullens, and the Cullens have got to stand up and fight for Bella's life."
This is your third one. How does it compare to the other two?
Jackson Rathbone: "Well with the first film we introduced the vampire world of Twilight. Second film we introduced the werewolf world and here, the third film, both worlds come together to fight off a newborn vampire army. So a lot of action, a lot of amazing scenes."
Peter Facinelli - 'Carlisle' in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Did you really whack Nikki Reed in the head?Peter Facinelli: "Oh yes I did. Every once in a while Rosalie needs a good... No, I'm kidding. I felt really bad about that, by the way. It's just the contact lenses, you can't see. So I literally smacked her in the head and then Elizabeth came over and she goes, 'You know, she's over in the corner like almost sobbing. She has like a knot on her head.' And I was like, 'What happened?' She's like, 'You hit her in the head.' I felt really bad."
So are you ready for the Chronicles of Carlisle?
Peter Facinelli: "Chronicles of Carlisle coming to a theater near you one day hopefully."
Would you really do a spin-off?
Peter Facinelli: "350 years of Carlisle. I don't know. You know, this franchise has been so fun. I take one job at a time and I'm having a great time on Nurse Jackie too. I wrote a movie that I'm starring in; we're shooting it next month. And so I'm excited now that I get to create worlds myself and have them shot. I wrote another movie that my wife is actually shooting right now for the Hallmark Channel, so I enjoy writing as well. You'll be seeing more of that."
As head of the Cullens household, what is it that you think the Cullens represent to the fans that make them such a beloved group?
Peter Facinelli: "Family. We stick up for each other and we're there for each other. We're bound by more than just being vampires but a real love for one another. And I think that people dig that."
I hear your kids wear Carlisle T-shirts.
Peter Facinelli: "Only when I make them."
