Cody Simpson - Soundtrack Artist, Hop

You've got a song in this.

Cody Simpson: "I do. 'I Want Candy,' I just remade it. They wanted to make it a little 2011 for the movie."

How do you do that?

Cody Simpson: "How do you do that? I guess, you know, still being young and everything I guess I can probably.... I actually went on the computer and listened to all the remakes over the years that everyone's done. I just wanted to make it a little newer than them all. I think it turned out great. Everyone loves the song and I'm super excited to hear it in the movie. It's going to be good."

From all the remakes that you heard, which one stuck with you the most?

Cody Simpson: "Aaron Carter's. I like that one. It's good."

Why do you think there aren't any Easter movies?

Cody Simpson: "Why do I think there aren't any Easter movies up until now? I'm not sure. I mean, there's many, like, Halloween and Christmas and everything. I guess it's like a milestone kind of - the first Easter movie. It's nice."

And you're in it.

Cody Simpson: "It's going to be sweet. I'm excited to actually...it's going to be weird hearing my voice on the big screen."
