Video:Chris Evans and Columbus Short The Losers Interview
with Rebecca MurrayChris Evans (recently named as Captain America) and Columbus Short teamed up to talk about the action adventure 'The Losers' at the 2010 WonderCon. And aside from all the action, Evans and Short confessed to engaging in a little bromance in the film.

I have to admit I know nothing about the comic books. Is it for people like me? Can we get into it?Columbus Short: "Absolutely because like if you knew nothing about Spider-Man, when you saw the first Spider-Man you saw how he became Spider-Man. It's the same thing. It's how these guys became the band of losers and, you know, so on and so forth. It's a movie for everybody. It's good old fashioned action, comedy, drama, suspense, all that."
And I hear there's even a little romance too?
Columbus Short: "A bromance."
Chris Evans: "Yeah, absolutely."
Who do you bromance with?
Chris Evans: "You're looking at him."
Columbus Short: "This guy right here."
Was this an off the set attraction too, or just on the set?
Chris Evans: "Well, that's what made the movie… We would hope that's what will make the movie. If you get along off set, hopefully that will translate on screen and we all got along so well. The characters are written so friendly and familiar, and there's a history. And if you can buy into that history and identify with the relationships, hopefully that's what people will walk away connecting with."
When you're playing in something like this where it is so important that everybody connects, how do you get the chemistry with such a large group?
Chris Evans: "Beer. No, I'm kidding. We were lucky enough to have a little bit of time before we started shooting, we had enough time to hang out and get to know one another. And literally it's, you know, on movies you don't always…"
Columbus Short: "It's a gamble. You can get to the set and it's like, 'Uhh, I don't hate this but this is not somebody I would hang out with.' It felt like all of us would just instantly hung out. We did dinners. You would invite people to dinner on certain movies and they don't come. Everyone was just down to just make sure we had a great time. It was amazing."
So Losers 2?
Chris Evans: "Fingers crossed, fingers crossed."
Columbus Short: "I would want to do that in a heartbeat."
