How important is this scholarship in terms of your family?

Kate Ledger: "Well, I think it's a deep honor that we feel, certainly, within our family. But I think it's important for all Australians too in the acting community. We're very proud. We think Bella is fabulous."

Did you have any input whatsoever in who was going to receive the award?

Kate Ledger: "No. There's experts to do that."

They should at least let you vote for who is going to receive it. That seems fair.

Kate Ledger: "I can tell you right now she's the best choice. She's a very talented girl and she's an incredible girl. She'll go a long way. Watch this face."

What is it about Australians? All of a sudden you guys are taking over Hollywood. Why is that?

Sally Bell: "Really? I wasn't quite aware of that. I don't know. I think there's a mixture of maybe we're a novelty over here or something."

Kate Ledger: "No. I think it's because Aussie's have a very fresh, raw approach. They're not afraid of knock backs or hard work, and they just keep going, keep going until they crack it. I think they're relentless in their pursuit."

Sally Bell: "That is true."

Who else besides Bella should we watch out for that we haven't seen from Australia that you have seen?

Sally Bell: "Well, there's the breakthrough [winners]."

Kate Ledger: "The two guys tonight, of course, Chris and Ryan. Obviously, they're amazing as well. I'm sure there is hundreds."

And they're all taking on these roles in these big action epics. Are you guys just building them strong in Australia?

Kate Ledger: "I think it's fantastic. It's their big blockbuster commercial films and to be able to get that straight off the bat or whatever is just awesome and amazing. Like Sam Worthington."

Heath Ledger's family says you are so deserving of this award. How does that feel?

Bella Heathcote: "It's beautiful. It's overwhelming, and it means a lot."

They said to look at your face because we're going to be seeing a lot of it. So what do you have planned?

Bella Heathcote: "Just plant my feet here and pray that someone gives me a job."

Tonight when you're accepting this award, who is that most important [person] for you to thank?

Bella Heathcote: "For me to thank? Heath's family and Australians in Film for establishing this and keeping it going. It's huge."

Why do you think Australians are just kicking butt in movies right now? You guys are just taking over.

Bella Heathcote: "Yes, go Aussies! I guess it's just we're all committed enough to do the training and take the leap and come here. So obviously it shows some level of determination."

And why can every single one of the Australians who come over here do every single accent that they have to? Why are you guys so good at that?

Bella Heathcote: "We just work at it. We just have to - we've got no other choice."

What are looking forward to doing? Are you a romantic movie-type person? An indie? A horror? What do you like?

Bella Heathcote: "D, all of the above."

Action movies, it doesn't matter?

Bella Heathcote: "Yeah, bring it on. I'm up for it."
