Aaron Eckhart – 'Harvey Dent' in The Dark Knight
Do you think that The Dark Knight should have been nominated for Best Picture?Aaron Eckhart: "I don't think about things like that."
What do you think about?
Aaron Eckhart: "What am I thinking about? I think about other things. I mean, The Dark Knight's a great movie and I had a lot of fun making it, you know? These awards can be a little bit too competitive or can be taken out of context I think. I'm really proud of The Dark Knight, proud of Heath Ledger, proud of Christopher Nolan and the whole cast. I'm satisfied – that satisfies me."
What are you most looking forward to about the Spirit Awards?
Aaron Eckhart: "Just seeing everybody, all the great actors in there in that tent. It's an amazing array of talent. It's awe-inspiring to see the directors and the actors and people who you've worked with and people who you want to work with. It's such a relaxed atmosphere that you can go up and really chat and hopefully get yourself a movie or two."
Are they bringing you back for the next Batman movie?
Aaron Eckhart: "I'm waiting by the phone…"
