What You'll Need for an Edgy Buzz Cut

Basically you want to start with clean very towl-dried hair so that there is no excess moisture. The tools you are going to need is a flat tooth comb, nice clippers, your shears and a tapered comb.

How to Do an Edgy Buzz Cut

So hold your clippers in both hands with your thumbs forward so that you can do an outward scooping motion with them. Take your comb and your clippers, start doing clipper over comb. It's very important that when you do clipper over comb that you don't bite into your comb with the clippers. You want to keep them at a square angle. Work against the grain of the hair. So you want to continue using the clipper over comb technique all the way through the corners of the hair.

So when you get to the top basically this is going to be a finger length on the top all the way around. Start in the center, keep fingers flat to head. Since this is a buzz cut we are going to be following the shape of the head keeping out fingers flat to it. To finish we are going to use the t edge clippers, and blend in any marks and tighten edges.

Now to style we just to use a really light cream and a tiny bit of it. Make sure it is well emulsified in your hands. This is just to give it a little more shine, and a more modern look since this is an edgy buzz cut. There you go there is your edgy buzz cut.
