Supplies for Styling a Men's Buzz Cut for Thinnning Hair
Here are the materials you will need:
- Shears
- 2" wide comb
- Water bottle
- Trimmers
- Mousse
- Matted paste
Instructions for Styling a Men's Buzz Cut for Thinning Hair
First we will use our trimmers with a number 4 guard attach and work around the top perimeter of the head. Right where the hair starts to curve. Next work your way down to a level one guard, start with the 3, 2 then 1 working your way down to very exterior of the haircut. Buy working your way down with the different guards this will give you a nice faded buzz cut.

Next grab comb to help blend the different lengths of hair. Use the bottle water to saturate the top part of the head with water and grab your shears and create a guideline starting from the back to the front. IF you have thinning hair the best way to help disguise the thinning hairline, is to comb the hair down to cover what you are trying to hide. Comb the hair down in the direction you need and lightly point cut around.
Next use your guideline to create horizontal sections 90 degree to the ceiling. After you have gone through the whole top center section of the head move to side section blending the sides in with the very top center. Once you work your way around to the front determine the length you have and blend, hold the hair up and connect the two, you should have a little corner here. Then work your way around to the next side. Now take trimmers and and comb clean up around the hairline start from back nape area working our way through the sides to the front on both sides.

For styling use either a mousse or thickening spray to help promote volume and fullness. Next use a hair dryer with medium heat to help add volume and fullness throughout the hair. Finish up with some paste. That is how you style a buzz cut for men's thinning hair.
