Hi this is Stephanie from epicenter hair in Portland, Oregon for About.com, and this is how to avoid greasy looks for men with long hair.
Products You'll Need for Hiding Greasy Hair
The tools we’ll be using are a widetooth comb, a towel, dry shampoo, or baby powder.
How to Cover Up Greasy Hair for Men
Start by smoothing the hair to remove oil from the hair from root to end using your widetooth comb.
Taking sections, spray the dry shampoo directly at the root of the hair or baby powder if that’s what you have available.
Use a towel to absorb remaining product. You can use a blow dryer if necessary. This will absorb the oil. Comb the remaining product with your widetooth comb through the ends of the hair. Style the hair as necessary.
As you can see the oil is now distributed from the root to the ends of the hair.
