Hi, I'm Ron Diamond, owner of Ronjo.com Magic and Costumes, with great costume ideas for couples. Here are some miscellaneous costume ideas that can really set you apart at your next party.

Clown Couple Costumes

A pair of clowns brings a lot of fun to any occasion. It's important to remember that you really have to get into character. Just putting on the costume doesn't make you a clown. You have to get the wig, and the squeaky nose and the big floppy shoes to really pull off the clown couple. The horns and the cartoon shoes allow you to tramp around your party and become the center of attention, which is what being a clown is all about! A lot of people choose to do the face makeup as well, but these costumes work great with or without the face paint.

Firefighter Couple Costumes

Here we have a firefighting couple sure to set the party ablaze. Our female firefighter has a long jacket that doubles as a dress, and an inflatable fire extinguisher to wear on her back. Her handbag is also a mini fire extinguisher and her fiery red hair completes the costume. Our male firefighter has the authentic-looking fire jacket and pants, with a more realistic looking fire helmet. Some handheld pyrotechnics can really turn up the heat.

Santa and Mrs. Claus Couple Costumes

Finally, we have a little bit of holiday cheer. Mr. and Mrs. Claus look great at a Christmas party, but they're even better at any event at different times of the year when their appearance will be unexpected! Mrs. Claus has an adorable set of stockings and a miniskirt with a matching bikini top. The long gloves make this costume sexy and stylish. Santa himself is sporting the traditional red and white pants and coat with a large belt and brass buckle. The beard and wig complete the look, and will have both young and old angling for a chance to give the beard a little tug. Black boot-themed shoe covers allow you to wear whatever is comfortable on your feet.
